1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are a contract between you and Budget With Me ("Budget With Me", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Budget With Me website and application (the "Service"), you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated.

3. The Service

Budget With Me is a free personal finance tool that helps you estimate take-home pay, log expenses, track bills, set budgets, and save toward goals.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach security or authentication measures.
• Upload malware, scrape data, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the software, content, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

6. Your data

You own the budget data you enter. You grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Notice for details.

7. Service availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations (such as tax estimates) will be free from error. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may request an export of your data within 30 days before deletion.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, in-app notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Budget With Me operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
